Want to apply for visitor visa

Hello, Can someone advise me on Canadian visitor visa? I went through the posts and am confused about applying for visa with my boy. I want to know that -
1. If I apply for visa for all of us or just me and my hubby, what are the chances of gaining a visitor visa?
2. Is Tour itinerary mandatory when applying for visa?
3. How to apply - through a travel agent or just go online?
4. What documents are needed for applying visitor visa?

Other expert may give other oppinion
1. It doesnt matter if you want to apply only you or with other family member as long you provide all requirements to apply TRV
2. Tour itinerary.. if you dont join any tour, just make your own tour itinerary (when apply, you dont need to buy flight ticket or hotel room but you can give dummy flight ticket or hotel booking)
3. In my experience i applied tru VFS global bcs they are so helpfull and the fee is cheap

Tips make sure you give strong ties to your country so you will return to your country and will not stay after your visit

I am willing to apply for my husband and for myself. I have a 2 month old baby girl, but we are not planning to take her on Canada tour. I hope that is the strongest reason that we will return back to India. Also I want to visit Canada because we are eligible for Canada PR and my husband want to visit Canada and explore the country before making our final decision, whether to apply for Canada PR or not?
