Wanna Apply for Student Visa Im in Dubai Right Now. Any tips please!!!

Hello guys!

Im currently base in Dubai right now and I wanna apply for a student visa in Canada! I just wanna know what steps I can make or any tips coming from you guys. Coz I was thinking of applying from here or ill go home first in the Philippines and apply from there. Any helpful tips from you guys will surely be appreciated.

Right now im in tourist visa.. i didnt accept any offers that was given to me.. im thinking if its faster to apply if im here or in the philippines

Definitely consider applying from PH. Abu Dhabi office is pretty famous for handing rejections.

Have you received a letter of acceptance for a school. If you are moving back to the Philippines then apply from there. You need to show strong ties to your country, career advancement etc.

Honestly not yet im planning on admitting right now and what f possible hopefully get to study there by sept

Kabayan, if you apply in UAE you risk getting rejection due to your immigration status in current country of residence. Besides, UAE processes a lot of applications, whereas in the Philippines only Philippines applications are processed.

Apply from the Philippines, prove home ties and write a strong SOP. I would also suggest to apply under SDS para less documentation.

SDS po ay Study Direct Stream. A simplified application process which requires less documentation. You only need to pay 1st year tuition upfront and a GIC deposit of CAD$10K in an accredited Canadian bank to constitute your financial capacity to study in Canada.

Yes it is ok, depending on the amount if you transfer to your Phils account ,you need to show evidence of source of funds, make sure to write an affidavit in the poof of funds document stating that you have transferred your Dubai money to your Phil account with the exact date of transfer and attach a screen shot of the transaction. As the members said you better apply from Phils.

Yung GIC deposit po ay monthly ire-release sa regular debit account mo yung portion ng GIC. The monthly amount you will get is GIC deposit / 1yr.
