Waiting Visa from Buffalo

Hi , please , if someone can help.
My undertaking application in favour of my spouse been approved on 2008-Aug-01.
I also received the Selection certificate issued for her admission to Quebec as a permanent resident . And the notice of sending directely to the CIC office in Buffalo. But , until now , about 5 months waiting , we have no new from The CIC .
What should we do ?I do not know if my wife need a interview or some letter was lost ??

Buffalo will be mailing all correspondence to the mailing address provided for the applicant . . . did your spouse ever receive an Acknowledgment of Receipt? Normally that goes out within a week or so after they receive the file from CPC-Mississauga. Is there anything in eCAS?

Buffalo's processing timeline is 3-9 months . . . so 5 months in process isn't unusual. But you should have at least gotten an AOR. If you haven't, you should consider having your MP make an inquiry. Buffalo is notoriously non-responsive to correspondence from sponsors and/or applicants . . . but an MP's office can usually at least get confirmation that the application is in process.

Thanks RobsLuv for your help .But she doesn't received any mail from ... since I received the file from CPC Mississauga .We send the email and they just reply for her is the application is in process.

Well, at least you have confirmation that the application is in process. As I said before, 5 months is well within the normal processing timeline for Buffalo. You might want to send them a fax to tell them that your wife has not received any communication from them at all, so you want to verify that they have the proper mailing address on file. They will mail any requests for additional information, and the request for the passport, to the mailing address they have on file . . . so it's really important that they've got that right.
