Do you have your protected person status document?? that document is the one which you neeed to enter togther with your travel document and not your passport, you might need your landing letter handy!!
Thats what I heared from the other protected persons who used to travel, and remember your status is diffrent from the other landed immigrant and thats why you are in the possition of refugee travel document and for USA I believe they are not very familiar with all refugee circumstances.

Hamed,
Yes I can enter with that document but they might ask my US visa( which is in my passport) and they will see that I have my passport and my PR. I don't think it's a good idea to get in with that document when I already have my passport.

Hi all,

I've seen numerous posts about this and they all seem to suggest that this is not a MAJOR problem, but I just wanted to get some indications from people familiar with the situation.

I'm traveling to Spain in about six weeks with a valid British passport but an expired PR card. My application for renewal has been sent, but there are no indications it is currently being processed. I am planning to ask for an expedited application in the next day or two although some of the posts I've read suggest there is no guarantee that will be enough to get a card prior to my departure.

My question is whether or not I will be prevented from boarding the plane to return to Canada and/or prevented from Canada upon my return. As indicated in some of the previous posts, I'm planning to bring some recent tax returns and any other proof of residence, but I'm wondering if that will be enough. I have trip insurance and could cancel if necessary, but this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I'm reluctant to pass up. Any suggestions about what to do?

hello
I am a protected person
I had applied for my first PR card on the 30th of August
Kindly advise me with the following :
1- when I will get the PR card approximately ?
2-Can I apply for travel document and travel with it and come back or I have to wait for my PR ?

Best Regards
