Hey everyone
First time posting.

I think I'm in IP2...
FSW outland (UK)
Sumitted: 6 Oct 2018
Medicals passed: Oct 2018
No additional information
Biometrics: completed 29 Nov
Background check: processing
Estimated deadline: 6 April

Any idea whether this will be processed before the deadline?

Nat

Hi

My timeline is as follows

Aor 16 dec 2018, BGC shows NA
Med 28 Jan 2019, BGC moved to IP1
On 01 Feb 2019, BGC changed to IP2

Little worried what this means. Does it mean that I have cleared the eligibility and criminal check and currently undergoing security check? Should I be expecting my PR in 2 weeks’ time?

Please advise

Hi folks, it looks like my medical exam was passed and my status has changed to IP2. However, I just submitted my application 5~6 weeks ago... Does it mean my IP2 is not a real IP2 (which will soon lead to a Landing Interview), and I still need to wait for a few months? Does anyone have the same concern here? Thank you!

hello everyone,

I Got AOR on 15 Jan , Medical exam was done before AOR
My BC status shows that i am on IP2, but no update on Medical.

Is this normal?

Thanks
Bilal

are you from a country that requires biometrics?

Yes. For biometrics candidate, the bgc status changes to Ip2 after biometrics but thats not the real IP2 and it soon goes back to IP1 and then finally into Ip2.

Thank you for your reply! I am currently working in Canada, and I applied under CEC-inland, does this mean I am chosen to give my biometrics ( and need to leave Canada to do this...?)

I just found this post and it looks like we don't need to give our biometrics if we are applying for PR in Canada:

I am so confused right now, look forward to hearing back from you guys...

FYI, my current timeline is:
1.1 / 12.31 AOR (BC showed as NOT APPLICABLE)
2.10 MEP (BC changed to "we are processing"...)
No further update since then...
