I know the feeling. Don't know if there's an end to this process any time soon. I wish I could just forget about it until I get PPR and stop torturing myself

u guys need to order gcms notes and call CIC about why the heck your application is taking so long
i would even get a good canadian lawyer ( NOT a consultant but a lawyer ) who actually have the power to speed up the process.

not as simple as it sounds ! the average processing time is 6 months but its not the case for every one, some are taking more time in eligibility clearence due to some reasons employers not responding, NOC accordance with employement letters bank account match....etc and some are definitly stuck in security staff as me my eligibility was cleared in 25 days and since im stuck in security screening mine is done but my husband's not yet .... there are people with march 2017 AOR still waiting so ........never know whats happening with ircc the best to generate gcms and call them in case something looks unclear or unfair !

So my GMCS / CBSA are mentionning that my SS result : favourables on january 21th, but my husband is also under SS as following :

Sub activity 1 :
type : Security screening
Status : Recieved by CBSA
Update date : 18/12/2018
Due date 21/01/2018

And bellow

Security screening
Previous result : Blank
Type : Comprehensive
Priority : Normal

Does it mean they didnt even start his SS ??

And wonder if you can guide me, when a person did a medical screening and exams expire do IRCC ask to re do medical only or goes through medical screening again ??

hello

last month when I called CIC they told me my eligibility is still underview and BG is in progress.

This past Friday I called them agian and they said I passed eligiblity and BG/criminality is still in process.

Now what stage of BG could I be in ? should i relax knowing my work experience has been approved/verified?

Are you an inland applicant ? I have called CIC couple of time and the agents have told me that they don't have information on my eligibility,criminality etc. I am FSW outland applicant. I am just curious if they have access to only inland applicant's information.
