Hi all,
While in Canada i applied for extension of my PGWP which got rejected even though i had submitted a PNP letter. So, i had to come back to my home country and re-apply for a work permit along with a work visa to enter Canada. I submitted my passport for the same. I did this application on the 3rd of May, 2013. No response yet.
2 months later, my Canadian room mate informed me that he has received a work permit under my name. When he checked the details for me, it was a 2 years work permit from 21st June 2013 - 21st June 2015. He couriered the work permit to me and i received it safely. But, now the problem here is i just need a work visa to go back to Canada but my passport is stuck with CHC. Its already been close to 3 months since i submitted the application in my home country. I wrote several emails and also did a written application to CHC, asking them to stop working on my work permit application as i already have it and rather just focus on my visa application and give me a result ASAP. But, they didn't even care to reply.
Other problem is that, when i came back to my home country, the nomination letter that i got still had 2 months validity on it. But, now after 3 months of my stay here, the nomination has expired. I already applied for extension which will take 3-4 weeks but other bad news is now i have also lost my job. The lady in SINP office told me that a valid SINP letter is required to get a Work Visa. What are the chances that the PNP officer, wont ask for my new pay stubs? Also, i have a new position ready for me in the same company, but they wont issue an offer letter unless i give them a confirm return date. I am not sure when i will get work visa.
Now, with no job and an expired nomination letter, is the work permit really of any use? is there any other way i can go back to Canada? My cousin stays in Regina. What if he sponsors me for a Tourist Visa? Will i be able to enter Canada as a Tourist and resume work in Canada.
Please help me out. Lots of questions to ask but cant put it all in one go. TENSED.
