Waiting for visa with wife who is pregnant but already did complete medical..

Hi folks..

i have two questions....

1. When i got medical request my wife was expecting, she was in 24th week then. As per the CIC panel doctor during this time it is optional to either complete the medical or wait till the child birth. So with his opinion and opinion of my wife's Gynecologist that in her 24th week we can do the X-ray so she completed her x-rays as well along with the remaining medical tests & the reports were sent to the CIC (new delhi, as i applied from Oman). Now i am worried that if the visa is received later than october then i may not be allowed to travel by airlines so what is the suggestion in this case.

2. my passport was left with 3 empty pages only and i am frequent traveler so i applied for my new passport. i may receive it in coming week while i am waiting for the visa request so should i inform the CIC in advance about the new passport or should i wait for their request of passport submission. Will the new passport cause any delays on my visa case.

Here are my take on your questions buddy.

1. Your medical examination will have a nod from the panel will take 4-6 weeks after the date you took your medical. If your application will go smooth as planned, you will have your passport with Canadian visa back from the embassy in 3-4 moths. By then, your wife will gave birth and what will you have to do is immediately inform the embassy so that procedures can be done immediately in order you to be able to bring your child together with you and your wife when you land.

2. As for your passport, don't worry as long as you don't have any other travels other than the landing in Canada. 3 pages is more than enough, embassy requirement is at least 1 page vacant on your passport for Canadian visa.

1. As for the visa stamping on the passport i think its 3-4 days once we get the passport submission request (this happenned with a friend of mine in last 2 weeks) however assuming there is a delay and i get my baby delivered here in Oman then what shall be the procedure ? shall i have to again go through the bank statements or the previous ones shall be sufficient....etc

2. As for the passport i expect to get it by next week (unless there is some other delay) so before i get my new passport if i get the passport submission request then should i submit the old passport ? its still valid till dec 2015.

I may not be help you on this but actually I seek help from you. It looks like you have applied for FSW, correct me if I am wrong ?

I am also planning to apply for FSW2014. Currently, I am living in India and recently received one job offer from Oman. Please suggest me on given points.

1. Will there be any problem getting PCC in Oman, I think for expats a letter from sponsor is needed which needs to be submitted during application process, can that become a problem ?/

2. Which visa office I have to select ?

3. Do you know any consultant in Oman or nearby who can advice me on this ?

4. Will it prevent me from doing any international travel during processing.

Kindly reply, if you want to add other points please mention, it will be helpful as there are very few people from Oman who are sharing there opinions here
