Waiting for the Oath - Ottawa

Yea same here how ever oath shows not started. I worry that background check expired and then they have to redo everything again and wait one more year again for the oath. This is INSANE

If decision is made then you dont have to worry about background check expiring, you have been granted the citizenship, you just need to be invited to oath

do we have a timeline of the recent ottawa ceremonies? I know there was a ceremony on Jan 12th, i might have read there was one on Jan 14th too. anyone heard of another one coming up soon?

how long have you been waiting for oath after decision made?

MPs are often useless tbh, they used to be able to give ircc a nudge but now they get the same replies we get

We wrote our tests beginning of October and just waiting it says decision made on the old system but that’s all

It's crazy how some people get it in 3 days other in 2 months. Curious, how long after test completed did you get DM? I got DM on Jan 10, sometimes id be hopeful i'll get oath invite soon, other days i feel like it's going to drag till spring

i never received a DM email, all my items changed to ‘complete’ on the same day, 8 weeks ago, I am waiting for my invite, which I am seeing can take upwards of 12 months now , due to backlogs ?

You never receive a DM email, when everything changes to completed except for oath that means Decision Made.
