Waiting for the CIC call for landing interview- your dates!

Hello all,

This thread is for the people who have received their passport back from CIC with the Visa and CoPR. As Gurindar so kindly pointed out in http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-process-cic-update-landing-t252504.0.html , there seems to be a new process in place where CIC is calling applicants and asking them to show up to the CIC office instead of having to go and land at a port of entry.

I'm starting this thread to gauge the time it is taking CIC to call applicants.

So for example-

I received my passport back on Dec 8, 2014.
I have not yet received a call.

If you are also waiting, what are your dates?
For those who received the call, how long did it take after you had received the passport back?

Just an update that I received my call from CIC today, Dec 11. Interview has been scheduled for next week

Hi.

I am awaiting for my passport back.Did they give you your schedule or ask when can you do it?Did they also assigned you where is the CIC office where you will do it or you can get to choose?

She asked if I could do next week and I said sure. She gave me option of choosing from morning and afternoon. My location is the Etobicoke office as its the closest to me where they can get this done. When you get a call, feel free to ask them! They were very friendly

Friday Dec 12th, we received our passports via Canada Post.
Call received this morning Monday December 15.
Appointment confirmed for next Wednesday 17 in the morning.
Wow this was fast!

Passport Receivd: 11th December
CIC call: 15th December
Appointment: 19th December

Wow thats fast and no headache of travelling to Rainbow bridge in this winter.
