Hi everyone,

Just an update: we got Decision Made and are now waiting for the landing interview. We are super happy!!! And very glad he stayed here with us. This process is very stressful, but we are so grateful with Canada and all the opportunities that this beautiful country has given my family.

I recommend to use a good immigration lawyer if you were in a situation similar to mine, they know what they are doing, every penny was worth it for us.

I messaged yo my lawyer ,he said iy will usually take 2 months to get a file number
I submitted my application on 22 Aprilso hopefully I will get it my application number soon

One question
If they ask for more proofs
What kinds of proof I should collect after submitting my application ???

It’s usually a case to case basis it depends for example the immigration officer has doubt on your relationship or more proof of cohabitation so they will ask for more proof like joint account, insurance, etc. If you submitted what’s on the lists you gonna be okay unless they discover something during background check.

And it’s true the AOR is from weeks to more than 3months

For me during the process, I still keep and collecting all the receipts from my online orders, letters and I change my address in CRA etc. Just incase they ask me for more proof.
