While on the subject, I have a question, when a PR entering Canada after long vacation, one should have lived 730 days in Canada from the date of entry to last five years. Is that mandatory or simple PR is valid for 2-3 years enough? Appreciate senior could clarify this. Thanks

Sounds like you were away from Canada for longer than a vacation. If you were compliant with your first RO and were in Canada 730 days during the first 5 years since your landing date you must now be able to show that you have live in +730 says in the past 5 years on any day.
