I'm waiting for the PR decision for a while now. We're in the pool of guys that applied in January 2017 and still waiting for a response.
As we are almost there (the estimated date on their site is Aug, 29th) I don't want to take any chances. But, my family back there is having some issues and I may need to travel back for a few days. I'm really concerned though as this may affect something in our process.
I've applied on paper, still with the WP attached to the current employer and we're a family of 4. I'm the main applicant.
Some people mentioned in a different thread that travel abroad now can trigger their decision to request a new medical exam. As this would increase even more the waiting time, I'm not willing to do that. Is this information correct?
Also, do you guys see any problem with that?
