Please find the answers belowHi All ,
Please advise, I did my soft landing in Oct 2018 and came back to USA in Nov 2018. I gave my Friend's Canada address for PR Cards.
I received a letter from CIC that they rejected my photo and asked me to send a new photo.
My Question :
1. Can I send the new photo directly from US to CIC? Or should I send it to my frined in Canada and ask him to send to CIC?
2. On the back side of the photo it should have Date, name and address of Photogroph studio - Will it be an issue ? Will CIC thinks that the Candidate is out of Canada ?
Please guide
1. Yes indeed you can send and you should send photos directly to CIC.
2. You must put the information asked which is date, birth date, name and address of photo studio, and it must be the USA studio as you are in US, CIC do not have any problem with that.
In short world, you are permanent residence of Canada and you can live outside Canada without any problem.
Advise: Please be careful about the mailing address, there are two addresses one is only for mail box (regular post, not tracking), Other address is for express or registered post. I used FedEx with signature delivery.
I hope this information is helpful.
