Card issued 17 july with old photo

Why they request a new photo if they print the card with old one.

Thanks for suggesting . Photos req was done in April n took in London drugsmart n thy know n did take photos for immigrantion process . I perceive that photos are missing n thy requested again . I hope thy ll process quickly . First time mistake was done by submitting by regular post which had no tracking . Now we hv taken photos n sent with tracking

Another reason i am thinking is that they had some change in their software recently which is creating issue for the photo face size recognition/processing which is messing up things, i guess.

I just called the number (1->4->1->1) to speak to Agent.
My card is not made yet, advised me to call again 2nd wk of August if not received by then.

Just called cic about pr cards.we are a family of 4 with 2 kids landed on 19th june at Toronto Airport. According to agent that my wife and younger son cards in production. My card and elder son card will be finalized till 20 August
Is that means they will require new pics
Hope to get all pr cards without any delay

You're lucky half of your cards are in production.

I think everybody who landed are impatient to some degree, including myself.
If you wish to come back, you always have the option to apply for PRTRD

I landed in Pearson airport yesterday (July 28). The process was really quick. Even got my new SIN number from the Service Canada inside the airport.
