I just spoke to the call centre and was told my PR card should be dispatched by the end of the month. Not sure how reliable of an answer it is though.

Hi enviousone, definitely call back at the end of the month to see if your card has been shipped. The CIC agent should be able to tell you the exact date it was shipped out via post.. good luck!

on cic website it is mentioned to contact them if its been 3 months more thn approx time mentioned i.e. 57 days.

can i still call them after 70 days to check the status?

My status in ecas changed to Complete today, it has been Decision Made since March.

Hopefully this is a sign that my PR card is on it's way! (but who knows with this process...)

Update:

Landed May 13,2016
Called cic to inquire & informed me that my card has been mailed out with the regular mail on 8th of July. Hopefully i will receive it anytime this week.

Hi Friends

I need your help and advice on my situation:

I Landed in March in Calgary and returned to my home country after about one month. I got photo submission email on May 24 and send them the photo but still I have not received my PR card yet.

I'm a bit hesitant to call CIC because some people arguing that if the agent Asks me about my location and finds out that I'm not currently residing in Canada It could make some problems for me to receive my your PR card.

Could this be true ? How should I respond to that question if I Call CIC ?

just had a talk with agent on phone. she said PR Card is dispatched on 30th June. If you dont receive it by July 18th, call us again.

its been 10 days since card is dispatched. Is that take that long for local mails?

Canada Post has slowed down and mail has not been sorted out or mailed as it should due to labour disputes with the union. Mine was mailed on June 27 and I am still waiting.

They will confirm your name, DOB, email, and address. No need to worry about location. I phoned them up last week and they never asked me if i was outside Canada, which I wasn't anyway but just saying.

Still waiting out for pr card .. Landed in February 2016 photos req in April first week no update yet .. What's going on

For photos, do they post a letter requesting the same or through an email?
Recently landed hence dont know the process. Please let me know.
