PR Card processing time is now 105 days !!!

God pls help us

Dunno why they keep on increasing these times.
They decreased the processing of renewal of old cards
Let's hope that many members receive their pr today

Hmmm .. When I called this Monday cic told me that my PRC is approved ..and that I should get if not this week then next one ..now I called just to check if is malnutrition mailed ..and cic told me that is still in progress bla bla and that I should received by March 6th..then I say that another cic guy told me that my PRC is approved ...she say oh yes it is just its not done yet ... Unbelievable !!!

I don't know about Canada Post. As long as you trust your friend, I don't see any problem with giving him the task. Just make him keep it in his wallet as nobody would check it in the airport.

You can use any courier company as long as they have tracking and deliver to your home. your friend can bring with him but might require authorization from you.

Thanks mahendraa and kinji84 for your responses. That was great help. After getting your responses, I did a little research on my end and finally came to a decsion that getting a friend to bring it along seems to be a feasible idea.

105 days now isn't too bad... The last few times that it's been going up it's been by 10 days, but now it's just an extra 5, so I think it's probably capping out.

Shouldn't be too long for people in September/October now.

Landed at Edmonton Airport on October 9, 2015. Received PR Card today. All the best to everyone who is waiting.

PS - Was not asked to submit new photos. My COPR already had it attached which I had submitted with the application.

There is people before 10/10 who didnt receive the card and 2 menbers from 13/10 and 19/10 who received their card so you cant know exactly what is going on

Guys, no worry about PRC processing times. If you guys want to travel out side of Canada you can apply Travel document, just takes 5 days to received it, no need to wait 4-5 months for PR cards.

I'd rather not have to pay $50 each for a PRTD because CIC are taking twice as long to process my cards as they said they would.

They've told me 7 working days.
