(i) by email or by agent on the phone, after CIC received your photos to the agent OR never inform to you anything

OR

(ii) you only know when agent tell you by phone after CIC sent out your PR card to you?

Please let me know. Where is your destination? My case, I landed to Vancouver. Thanks.

I have recd My PR card in around 3 weeks after i re-submitted my pics.

I have sent my pics on march 10 and reached to cic on march 16 and I got PR card on April 5.

Today I found my pr card in the mail box, sent on April 15th, should have been there for a few days. Landed on Feb 27th 2016.

(i) I did called several times after i sent my pics but None of them confirmed that they have received my pics. felt like they never know if they were recd my pics or not.


(ii) Yes.

2 weeks after sent my pics, i told one of agent that its been 2 months since i sent my pics but i have not recd my PR card, guess what it worked. he immediately sent message (dont know to whom and how) and they send out my card on March 30.

Planning to land in July

Hi,

I received my COPR and VISA last September and was planning to do a short landing in May, but only yesterday my wife had the positive pregnancy test and therefore i have to delay my landing till July as doctor is not allowing her to take a long flight. I need to know some question:

1) If we travel in July and came back to my country of residence(KSA) and get the PR, and later on birth of the baby take place here in KSA, can he/she get the my PR later. What is the procedure for that?

2) Do i need to inform about my wife pregnancy to the Visa office now or i can inform them once i land in July

3) My visa will expires in August, can i ask the visa officer to extend the visa till the birth of my baby, expected in December. Will the visa office extend it?

Please advice.

Hi,
I got a request for new photographs for my new PR card. So I sent the photos alongside my COPR and supplementary information form. But I didn't send the request letter from CPC-Sydney. Will there be any processing delays because of this or is everything normal and under control?

Let me rephrase my question. Is it absolutely necessary to send the request letter for submission of photos alongside our photos? If I don't, will it slow down my new PR card production process? Has anyone here sent their photos without the request letter and still got their PR card on time?

Processing time is now 56 calendar days from the date of your landing. (And add maximum of 6 weeks of card mailing time).
