Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi Members,
Has any one received PR Card with landing date near 25 Oct 2015?
Whats the contact number of CIC? (1-888-242-2100 is not answering)
Did anyone contacted cic? If yes, what was their response?
Is any line added on the application status (ecas) once the card is ready?

Landed Calgary on 13th of oct.
stilling waiting.

But it seems like I will have to wait about two weeks more?
Yes and I want to know if there's any way to check processing.

Hello , well my brother landed at the Calgary international airport on the 7th of October and he received his card on the 7th of January , did your address change to the one you gave at the port of entry and if yes after how many days sir, and after how many days was your status set to be complete?

Address hasn't been changed, and what did you mean how many days was my status set to be completed?

I am in no hurry, I read some of others' cases and it seems like it takes at least 3 months and there was holiday time after I landed. I am going to wait till mid of next week and call Cic.

If I go to ECAS, can I check my processing status for card?

Literally I can't understand what you are trying to say.
I have gave same address in ECAS and my application and at the point of entry.
Also, decision has been made since July. If that is what you are asking..

Ladies and gentleman, 105 days after landing I finally received my card in the mail today! 8)

Confirmed that it is the new design - larger photo, no PR type listed, and RFID wiring embedded (you can see it in the bottom half of the card if you hold a bright light behind it).

I was not asked to re-submit photos, and I sent them photos with my Ready for Visa package from the old smaller specs. It's the same image that is on my CoPR, so the old specs didn't seem to cause a problem. Anyone that has been asked to resubmit photos, it's confirmed that it must be for some other reason - the new design is not the problem.

SOOOOOOO HAPPY to finally receive this. Now the process is 100% completed and done with.

If I never have to interact with CIC ever again it will be too soon.......

We share same timeline but neither i got email nor any news, and its not worth to keep calling CIC everyday. Hope to hear some news soon.

Oh, so in case anyone is wondering, my ECAS never once made any reference to my PR Card. It's utterly useless, and you all might as well not bother checking it anymore.

Yes that's what I've thought. Ever since I've got my last paper, I've stopped looking lol
But anyway, I just found out that my mailing address was has as my house address. That was wrong becuz we use Po box here..

But I sure put Po box number on my application and at point of entry, the officer(?) asked me to double check my mailing address.

I changed my mailing address on ECAS just in case, but I am going to contact Cic today.

Ask them if a PO Box is OK... back in 2012 when I got my SIN card (when they still issued cards) they wouldn't let me use a PO Box for the address, it had to be residential. Which was ridiculous because I'd just moved to Canada and didn't have a residential address (and I'd got a PO Box for this very reason).

The envelope that my PR Card came in was marked "Do Not Forward", so you should definitely call them to confirm it will work.

It is unfortunate where I live, canadapost doesn't do delivery service everyone living here use Po box.
So I don't know where's mine or they sent it to me already, or about it send it. I guess I will find it out soon. Lol

No one in this forum received the card with this landing date.
I called cic yesterday with this number and extention 2,3,2,0
Probably no line will add on ecas

I called CIC today morning, they gave a new date... also will there be an entry in ECAS if the card is processed? if there is no entry does it mean that they havent started the processing itself.

Forget about ECAS, it's useless. I got my card yesterday and ECAS hasn't changed since my PR application was updated to "complete" a couple of weeks after landing.

If you can track your PR Card status on ECAS then that's a bonus, but if it's not listed it means absolutely nothing.
