No.
The best thing to do is just to forget about your application completely, until the PRC envelope pops up in your mail box. If you are lucky to get ECAS tracking - acces your application from time to time.

hi , I am going to land by tomorrow in Montreal airport , i do have below questions

1) how long you think the process of landing will take
2,) is the officer will change the address on the system to receive the PR on it , or I have to do it by myself
3) how long it will take to get PR card
4) if I need to leave Canada after landing without PR , do I need travel document or I can enter from usa as iam from visa exempt country .
5) please share your experience in landing in Montreal if any

Yes, my son's card is not here yet while the rest of us got ours on Nov 20. We get the same answer you got when we call CIC. Now, the new date in mid Jan.

How long will it take to process my application?

Okay I wana know , it doesn't matter right if u can log in with your COPR on ECAS and it says complete and the date of your landing. That doesn't let us know how close the PR card would be

Heyy i landed in montreal airport we are a family of 6: mom dad and 4 children
1- it took approx one to one and a half hour.
2-if you have the address the officer will change it for you. If not you will have to do it by yourself.
3-current processing times are 78 days so if it stays that way you should excpect it 2-3 months later
4-you can enter normally as you are from a visa exempt country.
5- the overall experience was very good the agent was very friendly and kind

As far as I know If you are from visa-exempt countries and you have PRTD you are able to come back Canada without PR card. However, most likely you may not be able to using only COPR to returning Canada.

Yes you can. When I did my landing, the immigration officer at the border told me that I can come back to canada through land border without PR card. Make sure you carry COPR document with you.

If we haven't completed 730 days in Canada as we are a new PR can our travel docs be approved by visa offices of different countries.
