Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Did you receive the PR Card by normal Canada post or sign for ?

Yes I have received PR Card by Canada Post dropped in our mail box. On contacting CIC on 7th Dec 2015 I was informed that my PR Card has been printed on 2nd Dec 2015 & posted on 4th Dec 2015. Exactly I found my PR Card printed on 2nd Dec 2015 with expiry on 2nd Dec 2020 in our mail box on 10th Dec 2015.

Further as advised by Quink I Have put mobile torch behind my PR Card I observed a Canadian Country symbol and PRC ORP words all in red colour & red border line as shown by Quink which otherwise can not been seen with naked eyes.

I wish that all members waiting for PR card gets their new style PR Card at the earliest.

Yes on September 2015 . Photo retake requested sent on Nov 30.should said it's inprocess.

they can't tell you when is going to arrive, they can just tell is it in production or is already sent out, just finished my phone call with CIC and i needed to wrestle her to check my file and finally she did, i landed September 26th, card still in production since november 28th, arrival time - no body knows. Gave up of calling them in near future.

Since I was on Supervisa and having USA visa hence landing was done at Fort Erie on 22nd Aug 2015 and I was free within 10 minutes but I was advised by PR Card printing centre Nova Scotia Sydney to send retake photo which I mailed simply by Canada Post on 22nd Oct 2015. On 7th Dec when I called CIC they told me that PR card has been printed on 2nd Dec and despatched by Canada post which was delivered in my mail box on 10th Dec, 2015. I again wish for early receipt of PR cards of all waiting members,

Dear I do have some question ??

1)iam planning to land next month and I do have only COPR as iam from visa exempt country , what is the guarantee that they will not return the photos when they are issuing the PR card .

2) do they use the photos that is attached on the COPR ?

3) DO the officer in the airport verify the photos and advise if the photos is valid or not ?

4) how can I make sure 100% that the photos are matching there requirement .

Follow the photo requirements specifications VERY carefully. Take the document to the photographer and give them a copy. Check that everything is correct before you leave - if you're not happy, make them re-take the photos or don't pay. Best thing is to go to a place that has a system set up specifically for identity photos - they can easily adjust the head size, framing, etc, and print it in the correct size. It's up to you to make sure you don't blink, and that your mouth is correct, etc.
