Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I called cic today and the agent told me my card is not even in process because of some internal problem and it will take another one month. She also said it is applicable for all. I don't know what the hell is going around. I also can't access my ecas online since two weeks. Made case specific complaint but cic hasnt resolved the problem yet.

2 months is not that bad. I got the PRC in 98 days.

Not sure why you can't access your ecas. I can access it. Let's see if anyone reports receiving it.

Hi, I landed on October 6 it was Island application and the lady told me when I become permanent resident that I will receive my permanent resident card by mail and it will take maximum 13 weeks.

Does anybody else have this kind of information?

I am expecting less than 45 days, I am currently inside of Canada It wont take 2 weeks to send.

I landed on 20 sep..received pr card of mine n my son on 6th nov...

Did not receive pr card of my wife till now. Is this normal?

I also landed on Sep 30!

From the CIC pr card processing page I noticed that it hasn't been updated for two weeks, and your infomation might explain for this situation. Without PR Card, I cannot get a driver's license with photo, and neither BC Service Card. Yesterday I received the invoice from BC health for the payment of my MSP, what happens if I pay for the MSP without a care card at hand? Can I still go to the doctor's?

Posting for someone from family .

They did their landing on Oct 1st , 2015 at Vancouver after getting the PR status . It has been 43 days since then and still no sign of PR card .

Surprisingly there is no ECAS status available either . The mailing address is updated on the actual file ECAs.

It says the application might not be under processing yet when tried to sign in with COPR number .

Anybody else in the same boat or have any advice ?

I called CIC. We need to wait for Waiting period again.

Called CIC yesterday and she said My Wife's PR Card was sent out on 9 Nov 2015. Finally waiting is over after 5 and a half months LOL
Please call CIC and confirm your case. Wish you good luck.

Wow.. Awesome.. Thanks for informing this.. Your wife's photos reached CIC on OCT 15th rite.. Mine was on Oct23th. I will wait for 7 more days & call CIC.

Dear All,

Happy to report that I got my PR Card in hand...I landed on 21st Sep at Toronto Airport, Card was printed on 2nd Nov, the Card was received at the CA- Address approx. 6th/ 7th Nov (so approx. 46 days); I got it forwarded to my home country (India) by DHL...Only just received it now, was waiting for the Card in-hand before posting here

A couple of additional points in case it helps->

a. The address I gave of a relative while landing had to be changed bcos my relative moved at short notice...So I changed my mailing address to an UPS Mailbox address using the 'Address Notification' tool on the website..The UPS Store received it smoothly and forwarded it to my address in India by express courier, as per my instructions...I was anxious about this but it worked like a charm..In case anyone else (without friend/family in CA) takes the same route

b. The status on Ecas changed to Complete the same week I landed, the address however was not updated...But I had called CIC and confirmed with them that they have my address on file so I wasn't worried...Around 6th November when I logged in to Ecas, the Canadian address was updated...So this may be an indication of impending PR Card processing

c. I never saw 'PR Card processing' status in Ecas like many members have reported...

How much it costs you to get the card by dhl courier? It is really wonderful the way you got your card delivered. Updating address in the cic website is a big deal n u got it done very easily.

60 days from landing sep 16 2015.no pr card yet , called cic saying in process from 10 days . I don't know when I will get my card .

Yes, after she check, confirm that she told me have not send out yet. She use the words that "your PR card will send out to your Canada local home SOON".

Your immigration stream doesn't affect the processing of your card.
