Landed on August 8th at Rainbow Bridge as well:)

Landed on April 16th ..still waiting for my card.. submitted new pictures but they haven’t even processed the card yet, despite my letter pretty much bagging them to speed up the process so I would get a card before my trip next Saturday.. Have booked a trip to Mexico for my best friend’s wedding.. have no choice but to use my entry visa (which was stamped in my passport when I became PR and is valid till 2016) and my work permit on my way back to Canada.. I can’t miss her wedding 

Katie, I'm in the same boat. My card was sent in June but I never received it! Sent off a solemn declaration today and have to wait another 3 months to get a PR card.

I have a trip to Mexico booked next week as well... so now I have to change my flight to land in the U.S. so I can cross by car. I never got to keep my work permit which would have expired in 2016. :(

called cic twice to inquire about PR card but no luck :( they did not even look at my file asked me to wait till August 16.

Hey Guys,

I just checked with the CIC again, they said that my address got confirmed only when I called them last week and now I should be expectingmy PR cards by or before 22nd of September. Just giving you the update for my weird case, which for some reason I find myself to be the only victim of.

Good luck

Please check with ramcanada user ID, he had same issue as yours and he received the card few days back, his address was also showing that of india but he received the card. So, just discuss your scenario with him and seek his guidance what he did or how his card arrived.

Hope it helps.

How many addresses are showing up in your ECAS page and what are those, i.e: of canada or outside canada?

All others who landed around 20-30 May, please update your status of addresses which you are seeing currently in your ECAS.

I am seeing my Canadian Address which i provided for PR delivery in "HOME ADDRESS" and my "MAILING ADDRESS" is same as previously provided address which i provided during application stage which is of Saudi Arabia.

All others, please update whats you seeing in your ECAS Online Services Page???

So Today my PR Journey completed .
I received PR card today

Good Luck to all who are still waiting for Card
:)

Congratz to all who already received the PR cards :)

Regarding changing Mail and Home address of ECAS , I did change my address last week and in two working days it was updated. What I did is all described here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/change-address.asp

Notice the following note explained:
Note: If you have recently immigrated to Canada, you must tell CIC your new address to receive a permanent resident (PR) card. You can use the Address Notification online service.

The Address Notification online service is here:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=coanotify&lang=en&_ga=1.162396988.1832075648.1429198502

Follow the steps carefully in the link above and within two working days your address should be updated everywhere related to CIC. (ECAS will be updated automatically)

Good Luck for everyone and hope this information is helpful for you all :)

Still waiting for PR card. Landed April 18. The CIC Call Centre is such a waste of time. No one gives an answer or knows anything definitive. And there is no one that you can contact like you could during the PR process. No office that you could email. So frustrating.

HI,

Have landed on July 11. Waiting for my PR card. Can anyone tell me if I could apply for US visitor visa without my PR card. Will that cause any issues for approving my visa?

There is a chance you will get refused US visa even with a PR card. If you are a new immigrant to Canada and don't have some real reason to go to USA you normally don't get Visa until you have been in Canada for at least 1 year. If you don't even have a job in Canada yet then that is a definite no.

Posting on behalf of my spouse. Landed on May 2 2015 at Peace Arch in BC. PR card arrived in Burnaby BC today, Aug 12 2015. That makes a total wait of 102 days for us. Good luck everyone!

Friends,

Today I have received my cards ;). Mission accomplished.

Landed (Vancouver) : 4 May
Cards dispatch (from Nova Scotia) : 5 August
Cards arrival (Kelowna) : 12 August
ECAS:
- Home address = Canadian address/The address given to the officer when landed
- Mailing address = Still home country address

Good luck all who are waiting for PR cards, you should receive them soon
