I've just called CIC and found out they don't have my Canadian address on file - so they were just silently waiting for my Canadian address all this time. It's strange, because I told my address when landing, and it appeared under "Home address" in ECAS. The mailing address remained unchanged (in U.S.), but I thought they know what they're doing, since so many people had the same situation with only the Home Address updated.
It's a little bit disappointing that the process is not set up well and that in addition to this they don't even notify you if they need anything.

Though, the call service agent was helpful. He explained the situation, asked for my new address and told it will take about 30 days to get the card after this.
Several minutes after the call, the mailing address in ECAS still remains unchanged, but I hope it updates soon.

I guess this proves that everyone who has an old mailing address in ECAS should notify CIC to change it, even if the Home address is correct.

If you are out of Canada then call CIC using the following number to enquire about your PR Card status:

Whaaaattt!! Mid-March!? That's so far away (relatively).
I have the same issue. I called the CIC yesterday. The agent mentioned that my card is in production. She told me to call them back if I dont receive the card by mid-march. Whey do they need so long to print a card!

She did mention that there are no issues with my application, but I am worried..

That's concerning ! Plus, 30 extra days to get the card after already waiting for so long!

My ECAS is showing something similar with the mailing address being the one pre-PR and home address being the one in Canada. When I landed, the immigration officer wrote the Canadian address on the COPR CIC copy that he sent with the PR card application. I guessing what they did for yours as well. Nonetheless, I had submitted a request online from within ECAS for the mailing address to be changed following advice given on this same thread but that's not showing up yet. I think I saw somewhere that said it would take 15 days  for the update to be fully processed.

This works. They transfer you to the in-Canada line.

Hi,
Can anybody please let me know where do I check status of my PR cards. I landed on 14th Feb and my ECAS status changed from "decision made" to "Complete". But there is no information about my PR cards, it just say that I have landed on 14th Feb and became permanent resident.

Thanks,
I am in the exact same boat and landed on Feb 15. My status says complete. I am also travelling out of Canada in April, so not sure if I will get my card by then or not.
I plan to wait till end of Feb and then maybe send them a inquiry form or an email to figure out if I should wait or apply for a travel document.

Thanks ! it worked. I am told that my PR Card went to production on Feb 02 (we landed on Jan 01) and we should expect it by Mar 02 else give them a call back. Also got confirmation that they have my Canadian Address on file (my home address is Canadian address and mailing address is still U.S. one in ECAS). Let's hope for the best.

Wonderclicks,

You should call CIC as if your status got changed to complete on 27th Jan for PR card than you should have by now received the same btw Canada post has lost PR card for my spouse and I will be re-applying again so just be cautious with them. They are big time into screwing us in last leg!

Hi guys,

Can someone give me some advice or maybe point me in the direction of somewhere that could?

I landed in Canada on November 10th 2014, gave my address details and what not for the PR card to be posted to, however I have not received my PR Card yet in the post.

I log onto my ECAS and it just says 'decision made'. Nothing about landing etc.

Whats going on!?

Cheers!

Even I am in same kinda situation, landed same day in same office. No clue where is it
