Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I landed on 17 May, 2014 and there is no any separate window in EcAS for PR cArd.
I think something is wrong there.
Called CIC on 16 July and they send email to ask, and let me call back ater 3-4 weeks!

I never saw a separate PR card window, and by all accounts neither did anyone who landed around the same time. I'm guessing this is a fairly new feature, and that you landed before they enabled it.

Just thought about it this morning and got a surprise waiting for me in my mail box
I landed on June 7th and received my card today. The card was issued July 24th.
No status for PR card in my ECAS.
It's a long journey, good luck to everyone.

PR Card processing: I check my Mail Box everyday lol
The waiting is never over... ;D

i know few guys who landed late 2013,early 2014 and has seen pr card window in their Ecas so its not fairly new like you suspected but for some odd reasons it just randomly appears for some and doesn't for others.

Got my card yesterday. Landed May 29 in Ottawa.

There was nothing on my ECAS except for my PR application timeline

The trend so far is recently landed immigrants will have their PR card window updated fairly fast on ECAS. Only a select few applicants who landed before that got a separate window. It is just a guess I don't know how this works. ECAS isn't very reliable most of the time.

Weird. I would have liked to see my PR card status.

I guess it satisfies a need to be constantly informed - but the quality of the actual information isn't that great - pretty much just "we're gonna process it", "we're processing it", and "we processed it", right?

Sometimes all you need is a peace of mind, especially for a worrying person. There are A LOT of worrying people on this forum.

Just called CIC and they said my PR card already sent out on 17 July.

What kind of mail they use to send the PR card?
Normal or Express? Need Signiture?
