Based on this, I am assuming the PR card processing is reduced to 34 days...lets see..cic processing times should be updated by tomorrow morning...chicka said:One guy got his pr card today. Landed 3 october

I guess they received too many calls recently...chicka said:45 days Ottawa serious???
45 days seem more reasonable. Recent trends in this thread are about 47 days... Maybe CIC calculated wrong in the last few weeks ;Dfullofsunshine said:Now it increases to 45 days again....
I landed on Sep 25 and am in a similar situation but my card has been delayed due to problem with the photos I originally submitted. I resubmitted the photos and it reached Sydney, NS on Nov 18. One way to re-enter Canada is to fly to US and drive from US to Canada by road by showing ur COPR and provided you have a US visa. Second way is ti apply for a travel document from outside Canada to the nearest Canadian Consulate.BK11 said:I landed on 28th September and have not received my PR card yet. I called CIC last thursday and the guy said your card will be dispatched on friday. Today I again called them and person said your file has not been started to process. It may take another 45 days to process it. I dont know what to do? I have to travel oversees on Dec 6th. People landed on same date have already recieved it last week or even before. This is so unfair . Any sugesstion if I have to travel without PR card, then what can i do to re-enter in canada? Please suggest guys.

I also have a travel planned for Dec 26 and have to apply for a travel doc from India to re-enter Canada, but are you sure your card has been delayed for no reason..please double check with CIC..
