@ maharlika: yup winnipeg target ko pro wla pko employer...bka may employer ka na pasama nman...kaso wala pa ako PPR kaya medyo dpa ako makagalaw....if ever makaalis,kahit anung trabaho muna while processing ung eligibility sa board of nursing nila....sayang nga lng kasi noon dpa required ung proof of immigration status pro tinamad ako mag apply...ngayon required na dw kasi manitoba government dw magbabayad ng bridging program if ever kelangan pa according sa email nila sakin....

Do we really need to attend seminars like PDOS before we depart? what does COA mean?

pdos is the onw you should attend. after pdos seminar your passport will be stamped meaning you attended the seminar and its one of the requirement before leaving. pdos is pre departure orientation seminar.mthe other seminars are optional but you will learn a lot if you attend especially ciip seminar. with pdos you have to reserve a slot 5 days before the seminar date because plenty of immigrants are attending.

Getting temporary medical insurance for the 3months waiting period is very advisable because the medical consultations and ER fees are very expensive. Consultation fees will amount to $120 while ERfees will amount to at least $700. That's quite a risk.

My auntie is a registered broker and she will be very happy to assist you.

We are three in the family and I had my quotation. The price is already reasonable for the three month coverage. As soon as we receive the health card issued by the ministry of health, the remaining days will be refundable. For instance, my sister got her card in 2.5months time so she was able to refund the half month.

If you want to have her contact details, please PM me. My auntie will be very willing to help you around. They have branches all over Canada so even if you'll just have Vancouver for a stop over, she could accomodate you.

Yes you cannot leave without attending pdos. there's pdos in cebu and better if you attend in cebu coz no need of making a reservation not like in manila. pero kami kc sa manila aatend ng pdos coz I want to join also the ciip seminar in manila and kukuha din ako ng red ribbon ng drivers license ko and sa manil to sila lahat so we opted to go to manila.
