anyone who is also waiting for PPR from manila? Our medical results was submitted last August 9,2010.. until now we havent recieve our PPR yet.. our application will be in one year time this September 28.. is it really the committment of the embassy to process the fsw application for ONE year? thank you for ur comment..

Could we say that if we recieved PPR its 100% visa stamping? or it could be refused?

My medical exam was sent to the visa office last August 5, 2010 according to ST. Lukes but up to now I haven't received my PPR. Does the interview come before the medical exam or after?

Usually, the interviews are waived unless the embassy has reason for the interview like if your IELTS is below 6 or 7, if your emplyment is questionable or if there's any other reason for the interview. Usually, once there is a request for a Medical exam, wala nang interview. In may case we had the medicals March 15...and the PPRs were received May 27, 2010. Darating na yun...

hi maemae. check your e-mails from time to time also since we received our PPR thru e-mail. We were waiting for it thru courier but lo and behold, when i checked my email, they sent it july 27.

I do understand your feeling.. been through with that..might as well check with your agency..btw, what is the name of your agency? based on what i read on the other forums and those i met during CIIP, less than 1 yr or in a year's time, they received already their visas.. delays are inevitable i guess.. you are lucky that you did not wait that long. ours, we waited for more than 5yrs already..and now we are still waiting for the return of our passports.. just be patient.. it will come.. soon..

Hi. I also took our medical exam at st.lukes last march 02, 2010. They forwarded my son's medical to CEM last march 15, 2010 and mine last May 18, 2010 which was delayed due to additional test. I received my PPR last July 30 (dated July 16 in the letter) and my visa is valid until march 02, 2010 (according to letter).
I think nirerelease nila ang PPR 8 months from the date ng medical. 6 months ang binibigay nila para makaalis and 2 months for visa processing.
I am working in a travel agency. I saw a lot of immigrant visa copy. The last passenger i had was CEM issued the visa 29/06/2010and the expiry date is 20/02/2011 (1 yr after they took their medical).
Its still case to case basis lalo na kapag pregnant ang applicant mas mabilis ang pag release ng PPR. Own opinion ko lang nman ito and nag base lang din ako sa copies ng mga 1st time immigrant visas na process sa CEM.
My sister medical was submitted to CEM last June 2, 2010 but until now wala pa rin siyang PPR so were expecting it next week or early next month.
Pina process na rin yung sa iyo. Sometimes dumadating na lang when you least expect it.
