Waiting for PPR and Visa from ADVO

Good Day everyone. I'm becoming dismal in the past few days. My application is handled by Abu Dhabi visa office while my son (11 years old) was handled by Manila CIC.
Last August 8, 2014 my wife in Canada received a notification letter for landing interview and a section of that letter says: “We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The overseas office in Manila and Abu Dhabi will be notified to issue visas to your family members to travel to Canada.”
My wife became Permanent Resident status last 18 November 2014 in Canada. After 4 weeks, my son's ECAS status was changed to DM and his passport was returned from Manila CIC with the visa and COPR.

Unfortunately, my son's medical clearance is only valid until March 5,2015 while mine is valid until May 2015. My son must land in Canada before March 5,2015 and we need to fly together. Unfortunately, Abu Dhabi has no news on my application until now. My ECAS is still IN PROCESS status. My wife can't leave Canada to fetch my son due to work demand and she is still waiting for the arrival of her PR Card. What's taking so long. Why ADVO is yet to advise for passport request? 

Don't worry and just relax. Incase, your case is not finalized before March 5th then CIC would 'extend' the IME i.e. medical exams for your son for another year on its own.

That's the issue..my son already got his visa and COPR from Manila CIC today. He needs to travel to land in Canada before March 05, 2015. Abu Dhabi is silent about my apllication. PPR is yet to be received until now and I need to accompany my son to Canada

In this case, you'll surely receive your Visa & COPR in coming days & well before March 2015.

Hi AMJ...I got PPR last January 11, 2015. SEnt my passport via ARAMEX to ABu Dhabi last January 17,2015. Feeling nervous, about getting my passport back ;D

I will ..BTW how did you send your passport to ADVO? DId you enclosed a self addressed AWB and an envelope? How many days it took to stamp the visa and return of your passport ???

Aramex did it all i.e. included return AWB with the consignment. I received back my passports exactly in 17 days.

My family medical was done by the April 2014 and another new born was in July 2014. I didn't get any news afterwards.

Any comments please?

from saudi arabia riyad-im done with my medical two weeks ago and the embassy has the result already..gonna be asking how long to wait for the visa to be release..my passport with Canadian embassy since the beginning of my application..under LCP.thanks,!
