Waiting for Passport request

Hi everyone,

After a lot of hassle, I finally got my medical status as "Passed". This one was on July 4th. Earlier I had sent two mails to the Delhi High Commission and also filled out an IRCC Web form. The first mail was on May 17, the second one on June 22 and web form on May 28. Now that my medical is passed, on July 4th, when can I expect my passport request? Also does sending mails delay my application progress?

How did get to hange u r medical to pass?

I did medical after applying before they asked me to. So they couldn't match it. Finally I contacted my panel physician who in turn contacted IRCC, after which the status changed immediately.

How do u come to know if ur visa is approved?do u get an email or sms to ur number ? Or is it updated in ur cic account 1st? Plz reply..!

I have already submitted my passport as I applied offline paper based

Nope. I applied online on March 21. Got my medical approved on July 4. Still waiting for a Passport request.
