Waiting for Passport Request

Hello Guys!!!

At last just received my PPR thru e-mail, after completing my police clearance requirements.
have to move to the next stage kita kits tayo dun at balitaan.
Congrats din sa iba and goodluck to all of us !!!

Waiting for Passport request as of today; although i am wondering on findude32's case. the one year validity period of his medical exam lapsed months ago. perhaps he already got his/her visa?

hi to all,

I’ve been expecting for a DM and checking my ecas since the third week after I submitted my pp june 17, only to be discouraged because it was still in process. July 6 I e mailed cic but no response at all. I was really stressed, pressured and worried because I already resigned from work effective july 31. July 13, still in process, so I filled up a follow up form to the embassy, waiting for them to call or email.Today at 12:30 pm I checked again , still in process. It was lunchbreak so I decided to go to embassy to personally inquire my status( I work in Makati ave.)The receptionist said to go back tomorrow morning, so I plan to come early in office and drop to the embassy for the inquiry. When I arrived in the office 1:30 pm I was just curious to look again my ecas and at last after 32 days of waiting I AM DECISION MADE…

Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Truly that sometimes our hopes falter but God’s grace never ceases and give us new hopes. God bless us all…

Hi Alimosen,

In my opinion, I will not make a follow if my case is still within the processing time. If the processing time lapsed then I think it is the best time to make a follow up. I believe that they gonna do some speedying up of the existing application forms since they put a cap on the incoming applications.

Congrats! after our very long time of waiting finally we get the request for passport.

Hope that you'll get yours very soon. Let's hope and pray that everything is okay and it's only a matter of waiting. Maybe all our application is complete ( no more add'l requirement needed or whatsoever ) and the PPR is the only thing to wait for. Just give a little more of patience and prayers... Hope to hear more good news in the coming days.

You're going to get your PPR very soon. I believe that all your documents & requirements are all set in and the only thing that matter is when they're going to send you the request for passport. We're almost there and a little more of prayers and patience will make wonders. Hang on, they are continuously processing our applications.

Congrats Steven! After almost 5 months of stressfull waiting dumating din. For the rest of us guys keep on praying God is good. This is just a matter of patience so hang on.

btw.. ilan months kaya ang wait pra sa visa.. we sent our passport on July 16,2010

and one more thing.. i always check my ecas once a week but there's no update on our status still in process thou we already send our passport to them.. are they still updating it?

Hi Sinkah,

As what they've mention in the letter, the processing for visa is 90 days but they will try their best to return your passport with visa earlier than the normal processing period. Looking at the trend, normally you'll get passport with visa on the average of 1 to 1.5 months but for me I'll assume it to be completed after 90 days to lessen my worries and waiting every now and then, you'll never know it could earlier than normal.

Any good news from you? Did you already set a date when you're going to send your follow up letter to the embassy? Any deadline you set. Let's hope a good news will arrive to you tomorrow just like the case of sammy_09. An instant visa or a one day visa. Are you aware of the photo specs for immigrant visa, if not here it is;

1) Full front view of a person's head and shoulders showing full face centred in the middle of the photo.

2) Be identical ( black and white or colour) in plain white background,

3) Photos must measure between 25 mm and 30 mm (1" and 1 3/8" from chin to crown, must have 35 mm X 45 mm (1 3/8 X 1 3/4) finished size.
