Sept 30,2009- Approved AINP
January 13, 2010- application for PR
feb 11,2010- application returned by CIC- wrong payment method
Feb 16, 2010 - application for PR re-submitted
april 8, 2010 - AOR,request for medical,ROPR Fee,additional document
april 14, 2010- medical done
april 28, 2010 -ROPR fee and additional document sent
May 20, 2010 PPR received thru email
May 22, 2010 Passport sent.

hello asagalen,

i would like to ask if you received your PPR thru email only?? when they send it through email do they also send it through regular snail mail also as a precaution? (e.g. emailed PPR goes to spam folder and gets deleted accidentally by unsuspecting applicant??). just asking.

sir patanong lang nakita ko kasi sa timeline mo ngayon lang. Whats the difference ng PV2 and 3W1. Kasi sa letters ng CEM ung LOA yta PV2 nkalagay sa last ng file #. Tapos sa addtl docs na request 3W1 na sa last nka lagay.

I'm wondering how CIC would inform the applicant or how long it takes CIC to contact applicant regarding about redoing the medical. MY medical has expired this month due to long background check. How do I know that CIC would contact me or I just wait to hear from CIC to contact me?
Please share your experience or anything you know about.

yah i received the ppr thru email only.. that was last may 20.. may 21 in the philippines.. i dont think they will send a copy in the regular mail.. coz below is written on my email:

This correspondence is being sent to you at the email you provided on your application, in order to expedite processing of your application. Please confirm receipt by sending a blank reply to this email.

i think it wont be treated as spam mail coz i got mine in the inbox folder.. and the subjec is "application for canadian visa [file number ]
