Hi raffy888, I read over again the AOR & medical request letter that I received from them last january 2010. In my case the 8 month period is between Dec 4 to Aug 4, 2010. This 8 month period is the alloted processing time for my application and if ever I haven't received any from them beyond the due date, it is specified that I can go directly to the embassy for follow up. I have to wait for 3 more months if ever they haven't released my PPR yet within this period. So sad, the waiting time is too long hope that my application is still in good condition & I can still wait no matter how long it takes and hoping that someday it turns out right.

Hi raffy888,

I read in your post that you encounter problem in the delay of your PPR. I think it's the problem of the immigrating officer who handle your application. I am also thinking that it may happen to me also. Anyway while the processing time is not yet due, I'll keep on praying that it will be released soon.

hi, im also newbie here, and waiting for PPR also my family was a victim of typhoon ondoy last sept and informed the CEM and sent all proof to them coz they said na maeexpedite those with application in process but until now havent receive email or mail , my medical was sent last jan 22, 2010 and my husband was on Feb 4, 2010... but im still hoping and praying na matanggap ko na din sia soon....

Im a newbie here, thank God I found this blog site.Like most of you here,my family is waiting for PPR, submission of our medical exam results were in Feb 1st week.Since then there is no feedback from the embassy.I am anxious right now, why the embassy is not sending us any letter if there is anything else we need to submit.I want to ask your opinion guys if the red passport is really a requirement, because four of us are holding the green passports.Please include us in your prayers that soon our visas will be ready.Thanks and God Bless.

I don't know exactly why it took that long, maybe they prioritize those who have a lot of POF, those who has a lot businesses, those who can bring a lot of money to their country. I'm not so sure about this, it just come out of my imagination.

One more thing I've noticed is that the PPR and medical request is quite slow at this point in time. Guys let's be patient it's a only a matter of stressful waiting, we're lucky in a sense that we have passed the LOA and medical. One to two steps and we're done. For the meantime let's enjoy what we have in here like our family and relatives, cheap cost of living, cheap house rental, an affordable maid who do our household chores, the job we have right now b'coz for sure when we get there we're jobless and it's not so easy to get a job of our dream, the Filipino culture, and a lot of talk time. Maybe that will help us somehow in lessening our worries thinking over and waiting for PPR.

hi momofjazzandcj, i've read from other forum that green passport is still valid. The expiration of green passport should not be less than six months upon issuance of your visa. Example: Visa was issued on May 18, 2010, count another 6 months if your passport is still valid otherwise the CEM will return your passport and will request for a MRP ( machine readable passport ).

hey thanks i went to my agent this am to deliver our PPs...they told me they will send it today by courier.....another waiting period again....we already had our PPs changed since last year kasi it was already stated that they dont accept the green one....tagal kasi mag wait ng PP....goodluck!God bless...

Really? Then youre right, if the 8 months period lapsed and you haven't heard anything yet from the Embassy then you can go directly to the Embassy to fill up the follow up form. Goodluck Steve. I hope you will receive a good news very soon. Just keep on praying ok.

Yup, after my medical was forwarded to the Embassy they requested again another copy of my NBI and they subjected me to a TB test which fortunately i turned negative, thats why i got already my PPR. You will be getting yours soon. Goodluck and just keep me posted ok.

Thanks Steven - i got mine thru email...kaninang 8:16am...its an early b-day gift...28th day after natiowide submitted my medical results(monday thru friday only less holidays)

congrats leeantz on ur PPR.

Nationwide submitted our medical results last march 8, 2010. We are still waiting for our PPR.

Hope we'll receive it soon. Again congrats and good luck.
