Waiting for Passport Request

I hope you won't mind me asking this...I noticed that priority of visa issuance has something to do with the nature of the principal applicant's profession. I may be wrong. You got your PPR 3 months after your medical results were forwarded to CEM - what type of industry are you working for? Thanks. Goodluck to you and to your family

I just checked my application status in cic website and still it says "in process".
I send my passport to embassy lasy January 13 and I should receive my visa yesterday or today based on 2wks l/t.
I'm just worried...that there's a problem on my papers that caused the delay.
Hope to receive good news by tomorrow!

I would just like to ask if there's an expiration on the medical?

I just had my medical yesterday at Nationwide and they informed me that it's gonna take them 2-3 weeks (assuming there's no problem) before they can forward the result to the embassy.

How long will it take the embassy before they can decide on the result of my medical (if I passed or not)?

I read here that the next step after the medical is the passport request and then finally, the issuance of VISA.

How long will these take on the average? 4-6 months?

in my case..i waited 3 months to receive the PPR after my medical forwarded to embassy.
My medical was done last 2nd wk of september...then it was forwarded to embassy 3rd week of september..then i received an email from embassy last dec.22 asking for my passport.

maybe thats the average it depends upon case to case like bluetulip she did her medicals september 09 she already got her visa while anabelle her medicals also was done semptember 09 she receive ppr no visas yet while on my case my medicals were also done on september 09 but no ppr yet because of my new additional dependent
