Waiting for Passport Request for my son thus ours as well....anyone with us????

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone is on the same page as I am as I am waiting for passport request for my son thus ours as well. I have applied on 6th of June last year for both myself and my wife and left Canada. We have submitted our medical report last year December with the notification of the fact that my wife was pregnant. We also received RPRF and passport request on Feb 2nd, 2013 for both of us as our son was born on 4th of Feb,2013. I have sent both of our passports to CIC Ottawa with my son's application. CIC have returned our passport to my sister's address in Ottawa saying that our file cannot be finalized as there has been a change in my file as my son needs to be included. They have also mentioned that they will send another request when the process is finalized. We received our son's medical request right after a month and submitted it online to ECAS on 20th of April...

The reason I am worried that we have been worried since then. Its been more than 2months :(...does anyone have any idea why???? is this because of the labour strike??? please help if you know anything...will be highly appreciated...

Hi,

When did you receive your MR ? Also, were your passports stamped after being returned ?
 
we have received and submitted both myself and my wife's MR last year december. We have submitted our son's MR on April 20th of 2013. No, our passports were not stamped. They sent me an email saying that we will receive another email again to send all three of our passports to CIC once our son's application is finalized. It is to noted here that we were requested to pay RPRF which was paid in february and sent them the payment receipt. Hope this info will help...please let me know what is actually happening with my file if you happen to have any idea...Thank you
 
Try ordering for ur GCMS notes
 
Hey, I am not currently in Canada thus not eligible to apply for the notes...right???

If you know any friend/relative in Canada, you can authorize him to submit the GCMS as your representative.

Don't worry. You should be hearing from them soon since your child's MR has been submitted.
 
Yeah i hope it too..keeping my finger crossed...will update the forum as soon as i receive the PPR...thank you
 
Hey Folks,

would like to inform all that I have received PPR today through email!!!!!....will send our passport shortly...thank you all who read and replied to my queries..will update the waiting time until I receive the passport back...Good Luck to all :)
