I sent my Passport Today

Hello,
I am from Toronto and CP has lost my passport with COPR. If someone has gone through the same process please help me with any details that can be helpful to apply for a new passport and the COPR.

Please let me know the detail steps to follow and also the time lines for each step.
And also my status as a worker is expiring in 8 days, do I need to apply for any extension?
Please advise.

hi guys quick question i sent my passport with photos to ottawa but i wasn't sure if i followed the specs in the photo if by any chance i submitted a wrong photo will it cause delay of sending my passport back?? please help. thanks

I am sorry to say this,but cic did say if specifications are not correct then photos will be sent back and it will cause a delay in finalizing your application.Please check letter sent to you by your visa office

From what I read in this forum it will take 2 weeks to get your passport back.

Guys, I might be going a bit off track but was wondering if some one can help me on the 2 queries that I have:

1. How much time would it take for CIC, Ottawa to change the visa office to Delhi (based on some recent experience)
2. Under normal scenarios, CIC gives 30 days to submit the passports. But when request for visa change is made, do they again start the clock to 30 days or do they reduce the days to submit the passports...

Hi guys, i need advice, got my ppr for TRV and sent my passport on March 29,2016. Until now, my return envelope tracker is not yet activated. I am currently working in another country (overseas worker). My work will end the last day of this month although my work visa is still good til august for my current job. I did not expect to wait for more than 3 weeks for them to return my passport. Just in case it will take them a little more longer than April to send back my passport, can i send them an email? or is this the usual average waiting time ranging from weeks to months for them to give TRV or work visa? Thanks ahead!

Well i've seen some posts getting their passports back a little faster than the others. I just hope they can send it to me next week since my work is going to end last day of this month. My current employers are asking when will they book my plane ticket home. I could not decide yet because i do not have my passport on hand. I am optimistic i can get the visa, its just that you can never be too sure not unless you see it in your passport.

I sent mine on 4 of april. It was received on 8. Its 19 April today and the return tracking number is not activated yet. Hope tomorrow.

Did u send by xpresspost? it should be 14 days since the mail was delivered.
