I live in Toronto. I sent my passport to CIC on 5th March and called CIC on 7th. They took my UCI # and some verification questions and said that local CIC Etobicoke office will contact me within 6 weeks. In total, around 15 minutes. However, the very next day I got email from CIC with appointment date of 21 March.

Landing at rainbow bridge can take a long time, I would like to know when does it have the lightest traffic?

Hi I've just found this thread. I've noticed there seems to be a range of times for receiving COPR after sending passport copies. Just wondered if anyone has submitted to the London visa office and knows how long they take to issue COPR? I sent my passport copies about 2weeks ago.

I sent mine on the Mar 16th, received by CIC on the very next day, still waiting for further notice.

I have sent my passport to Ottawa, to stamp PR for my wife. I have sponsored my wife through outland application. mean while she is here in canada through visitor visa , we got our passport request. so we sent the passport to Ottawa to get it stamped.

Passport received by Ottawa on Jan 27

One observation: I was supposed to have received my passport this Monday (March 21st). However Canada Post made a mistake and sent my passport to another city! The last two days have been a nightmare for me, because I thought my passport and CoPR had been lost. Fortunately they tracked the envelope and I received it today with one day of delay... What a relief!

It seems it would take 10-14 days for CIC to stamp and send back, is it correct?

Very close, yours is a little earlier than mine. Let us know when your receive PP!

Thanks, Kidbroker. Actually I think 11 days have been the average time for passport and CoPR processing.

About landing: yes, I did it yesterday.

Send mine on the 9th of March, still waiting. so seems that it will take 10-14 business days.
