I have sent Passport on Friday 13th March and is expected to deliver on Monday 16th March. I have both tracking number.

However, I forgot to write Application Number on Canada Post Envelope. I have included printout of Email (anyway which has Application details) along with Passport.

Will it cause any issue since I have not written Application number on Envelope?

Hi Canada_2010,

You have not missed to do anything that was required. You are not required to write Application Number on the envelope, so you are good.

Note that 'Application Number' is a private information which should not be disclosed to the public.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot rks0101. Its huge relief. :)

Actually, email which I got for "Ready for Visa" was saying something like below. That is why I was worried.

Submit all documents by MAIL in a single package. Quote your application number on your correspondence and send the package to one of the following addresses:

Canada Post:
CPC – Ottawa
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

That's why you have printed out the letter and included it in the envelope. That's the correspondence not the envelope. This is a generic guideline for sending other forms in STEP 1: Status Change. ;D

Hope this removes your worries. You are good. I did the same anyway.

Passport sent late on Friday 13th with Expresspost, and will probably arrive today.

I hope the process is quick, because I want to start counting days until the Citizen Application as soon as possible!

Hey guys. I got my passport and copr today. :)

I have a question -

When you get your passport request by email, they specify that you need to purchase 2 letter sized envelopes. I decided to purchase 1 letter sized and 1 standard size. Standard fits inside letter.

Anybody else do the same as me?

I used 2 letter size envelopes

My ECAS only today changed to 'Decision Made', after I received my surprize-PPR late on Thursday with ECAS still on 'Application Received'. The Passports reached there yesterday at noon...

ECAS reads:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 5, 2014.

We started processing your application on March 11, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

@mjaffer, I have used two letter-sized envelopes, as instructed by CIC.

I did the same. Canada Post lady told me they send many passports to CIC everyday and that's how they do it.
I know they specifically instructed in the email to send 2 letter size envelopes. Shouldn't be a problem IMO.

Alright, sounds good. Will worry about it if it turns into a problem. Thanks.

My passport reached Ottawa today. Added to the spreadsheet:

Cheers!

Got our passports back! ;D

I have already updated the spreadsheet.

Probably will do the landing this Saturday but still thinking about to call CIC for an inland appointment.
