It got there on Oct 29th. The tracker was activated on Friday Nov 7th at end of day. I was supposed to get it on Monday or Tuesday but because yesterday was holiday (Remembrance day) I got it today.

Wooww just 9 days!! :) Mine was delivered on Nov 4. No activation on the return envelope yet. Hopefully soon. So, how are you gonna activate your visa?

I Have received passport request from CIC.In the email they told that quote your application number on your correspondence. My question where i shall write my Application number of the package. Please give suggestion.

Print out the email. On the top of the email there is enough information about you. Your name, application number etc. Send it along with the passport and the extra Canadapost express mail. It must be enough.

I forgot to mention that i have got PPR also for my wife and son . So tomorrow i shall send all of our passport together with the copy of email.

in the PPR email they mentioned: ''Submit all documents by MAIL in a single package. Quote your application number on your correspondence and send the package. Fold and enclose the self-addressed envelope in the other envelope along with your passport(s) and a copy of this request letter.''

And the PPR email starts with below:

Applicant name

Applicant Address

UCI: XXXX-XXXX

Application#

Email: XXXXXXXX@XXXXX.com

When you print out the email and send it along with your Passport & PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelope you will be fine.

I don't think you need to write your Application# or any other immigration info on the envelope. And, I'm not suggesting it to do so. It's totally private info.

I know it is a very strange request that CIC is asking to put the application number, but I put it on the envelop that I sent to CIC because they asked :-X

Hmm I just put covering letter in the envelope with all the details as did not sound proper to quote on envelope

I did the same like you. However, it does not matter as long as PPR is attached.

Thanks...
