That one yes. On time. I had mine this week. But you can see that no one from our list got his passport for the last 2 weeks. Isn't it strange?

In May there were also strikes and we can see that the average processing time was longer then now. So we should wait for 30 days and not for 15 ??? ??? ???

I have started to think how will cic even check that we have sent our passports if there is nothing written on the envelope...they might be receiving loads of envelopes everyday and how will they separate each case....thus waiting is killing me...I have a major plan to visit my friends in 2 weeks in the USA and don't have the passport...I an afraid I lay have to cancel thus trip...oh man...this is going to be a huge disappointment to my wife and my friends...not sur what more can we do..have been sending so many emails to cic without a reply...ridiculous guys..i wish I knew someone in cic to understand how the process works

Yahoo I know its annoying that CIC is not replying but calm down, I bet your PR would mean more to you than visiting your friends in US (No Offence Meant).
Also seeing your timelines, you should consider yourself very lucky that you got PPR in mere 9 months. Most of the people from August are getting PPR's now so you are in bunch of those lucky folks whose PR have been processed at fast rate.

My friend take it easy! Don't loose hope , you are almost there.

I believe CIC is apparently busy in sending PPR to all the qualified folks. For past 3 weeks, they probably aren't even looking at passports and they are just collecting Passports. May be once they have worked on all pending files, they will start issuing VISAS and COPR's. May be next week is the week, you never know!

I think this makes sense to me and is a better move to call in all the passports in one go and then distribute them before opening new files. This would make processing faster. This may sound annoying and restless but unfortunately this is how things have been going.

By the way I also sent many emails to my VO, but no response.

We are almost there my friend, don't panic and don't loose hopes. I totally understand your position and wish everyone receives PP back real soon.

I don't know how but they definitly know whose passports they have. I mailed to cic to ask to hurry with our passports but they only said that they have our passports but can't do nothing to hurry the process. And on the web page it is said that they can proceed the passports for 8 weeks. So the only thing we can do is to wait.
