Guys, in the PPR email you received, how much time does it give you to send your passport? 30 days or 60 days?

mine was mentioned 60 days from the date the email was sent to me...

Mine is taking longer than expected. It is 39 days today since I sent my passports to Ottawa, and I haven't heard back from them.

Not sure if I should write them an email at this stage, or wait a little longer. :-\

I wrote them because I forgot to include my ppr email with the passports. So I wanted to check if my passports have reached to the correct division. I got the default reply saying it is in the queue for the final processing.

Hi Guys,

I am still waiting for my passports (30+ days). CIC received them on Jun 18. Not sure what's going on? I had mailed CIC a few weeks back on the status of my application and they replied asking me to provide tracking # details. Now, I am not even sure if they have received my passports.

I have sent them another email last week to confirm if they have received our Passports but no reply so far. Keeping fingers crossed. I hope I get the passports back soon.

Is there anyone else in a similar situation?

Been more than 45 days, haven't got PP back.

Last week wrote email and got reply saying that they have received PP and in the queue for finalizing.Ecas say DM.

Thanks for the update Guelphmm. No doubt, its been quite a while for your and couple of other friends who have been waiting for their passports. Hopefully, PAFSO agrees to bring their lazy *backsides* back to work and start working on the backlog this strike has created.

Easttowest - i have included you in the table. Hopefully we'll hear soon from you when your return tracker gets activated.

Congrats July2012 - 13 days turnaround, not bad! Now off to Rainbow bridge or Fort Erie? Let us know when you have crossed. All the best ahead.

Just a quick question..diz you apply as a single applicant or as a family??????...the reason I'm asking coz your PP reached CIC one day after me and the tracker already activated!!!...I did apply as a family and guess that's why its taking longer...your quick reply will be appreciated...

good morning everybody!!
Thanks for your wishes and praying for others who are still waiting for this last step.
Here are the answers of some questions which were asked from me :
-my visa officer is JP5777 who sent PP request.looks like this is the only committed officer who is working.
-I had applied with family (spouse and 2 kids). Rest details are in my timeline profile at left side.
-As of now I thought to go local CIC office kitchener for landing, if they give me early appointment otherwise i will go to fort Erie.
Please let me know if you need any further query or help you guys?I am ready for help as without this forum this PR journey would not have been so easy and enjoyable.

Yes seems like JP5777 is the only officer still working.
Guys can you all tell us who is your visa officer. I think that might give some light about how long it will take to get the pp back.
