Anybody...return envelope tracker activated?

Sent passport in on August 20th and it was received by CIC on August 21st. Still waiting for the return tracker to activate. For those who have received their PP, though, I have a question:

Did you need to be home in order to receive the passport? If I'm not home (work during the day) can someone else sign for it? Can someone else pick it up at the post office if I miss the delivery?

@ Yahoo7: CIC usually sends out the mail in the evening and you may want to check at 7pm or later if someone's tracker got activated.

@ cec1045: If you chose the Signature option, then they will require anyone to sign and wont deliver in the mail box. And you can later go to post office, show your ID and pick up the mail. But if you didn't, then they will just drop it in the mail box. But check after 7pm if your tracker got activated today.

Hello Infoseeker, Since i reside in USA, i included a Fedex prefilled form with my acctno, But not sure if they will send it via that or just use regular USPS as indicated in the email.
