Is there way to directly submit in office and get the stamped on the same day .

Its not in the instructions, but my co-employee submitted it directly and got the it stamped the same day.
Since I already submitted our passports to CIC, I didn't bother to ask her how they done it.

I think avg waiting time is 2 weeks am i right ?
Few of my frns get it back in a week though

I submitted it July 08. Based on the posts, 2 weeks seems to be the trend.
Hopefully we'll received it next week & probably land by next Saturday or earlier at Rainbow bridge.

Sent Passport on Tuesday July 8th
Passport recieved by CIC on Thursday July 10th
Passport returned on Monday July 14 th

I got my PP request on June 11 sent on June 12 still haven't got it...whats taking so long don't know. Any suggestions. Should I send email or wait ?

The CIC office is pushing out passports like never before, Got mine 5 days. [since the sent date] and now the PR cards are being sent out in 34 days. Hope all of you get it and soon and finish this long, hard, and very tiresome process. Good luck !

I sent my passport last week I enclosed an xpresspost return envelop but unfortunately I lost the tracking number. Any idea what should I do to get the tracking number?

The average waiting time is 2 weeks but give them a minimum of 1 week.
You'll receive it don't worry.

CIC was so so so so fast, incredible.... barely took 3 days for stamping and the other 4 days were spent on the mail.

Has anyone experienced super long waiting time? The embassy received his family's passports last May 5, 2014 and still no update until now

My lawyer sent my passports 11 July and cic Ottawa received 14th July but I can't track my passports when they will send back to my lawyer because my lawyer said they wouldn't know the return tracking number as they have provided Ottawa with their FedEx account number. Once they are ready to send the passports back, they will use their account number.
