It will be fine my friend. They just scanned it. It will show in transit once it starts from ottawa

Thanks s_g_s.But now tracking is showing as "IN TRANSIT" from TORONTO POST OFFICE to NORTH YORK(My home address)

I beleive Canada post messed up my case .
Any thoughts .. Seniors?

Yes they probably have scanned both your outgoing and incoming envelops. If that is the case then, you would have to wait for your passport to return to you, and you will not be able to track (since it is already activated).

Don't worry. I got the same status showed on the website and got a bit confused. But apparently it will update the time and expected date when it got activated

I recieved my passport today and got the sticker [immigration one] and also got the COPR. What do I have to do next ? I am already in Canada. I am completely confused as to where I should go and what I have to do next. I would very happy if someone could guide me on this procedure.

Current Location: Montreal

Congratulations on getting your passport back... You will instructions along with the mail u got.
Nevertheless... All u need is to go out of Canada and renderer. At the border cbsa will give you landing paper which would complete the process of PR. You will get pr card in 2-3 months.

This is crazy... It is taking too long for the passport return. I know there are people waiting for MR but this waiting is killing me... Checking the tracker atleast 20 times a day....one last step...indeed seems a long one.... Just hope am not the only one feeling like this...

Thank you very much for your reply, So all I have to do is, take my passport and the papers that came along with it, and cross a border ? Do all borders work well ? I wanted to know if I could just drive by to Vermont, USA and come back on the weekend. Can I use chartered bus like Greyhound or Megabus ? I have USA visa and Canadian Visa for re-entries.

I feel your pain. It's just one wait after another. Hang on there my friend. We are almost there .
