If you have a different address on file versus return tracker is that a problem?
and you have to send both via express post? or can you send using canada priority post? or UPS?

I am in the same boat. I sent it today in edmonton via priority national along with xpresspost regional to receive in Toronto as I am traveling there on May 6. I checked it with couple of people and they said its ok.

The recent record shows that processing take not more than 2-3 days from when they receive your PP. Of course occasionally it takes longer.. like mine.. where the wait continues since almost two weeks. Fingers (&toes ) crossed! ;D

since u r in Canada i think you shd be O.K but it will be 100% confirmed only when return tracker is activated. In my case, I am in USA and my return tracker is different than address on file and they sent passports via general mail.

same here....passport received by CIC on Apr 16th.....still return tracker not activated....

Just an update guys. Return tracker activated 22:28. Happy waiting to the rest. It will be there anytime soon...

I don't think you'll have an issue. Should be a few days maximum before they return it to you. As long as you provided a prepaid xpresspost envelope it should be a few days.
