Waiting for Oath Invitation - VANCOUVER OFFICE Timelines

I took oath on 14 Nov and received certificate on 25th Nov and on 24th Nov tracker also updated to application approved and closed . But today I just saw that tracker again updated today and status is "in progress". Has anyone experienced this update "in progress" after oath and certificate??? Is that normal or application again being reviewed??

Oh no. Grab your teddy bear run and hide under your bed because the big bad wolf (IRCC) is coming to take your citizenship certificate and make you wait the complete 24 months. Lol

Seriously you already have your citizenship certificate, there's no need to worry about a tracker.

there is a technical glitch. Many people are complaining about it and calling them.

Has anyone recently received an oath invitation from the Vancouver office? I wonder how many months behind are they on scheduling oaths.

OMG, I just noticed people who submitted paper applications in Feb-March 2022 are getting oath invitations from the Vancouver office while people who applied online in October 2021 are still waiting for oath invitations. So unfair.

Not sure if anyone knows but is the oath handled by the same office as the test? My location in the citizenship application is Winnipeg but the test invite came from the West office (Vancouver).

Sometimes yes. And sometimes they can transfer the file to another office if they're too busy or if another office has more capacity.

There's not much to do but wait. You can write your MP to pressure the government to improve the services at IRCC. You can also speak to a journalist to inquire why IRCC delays applications randomly
