I applied for asylum in April 2020 ,Then i got hearing date in December 2021,i had a hearing more than week ago,hearing went well,My first hearing was in December,then second was in February,first hearing took 4-5 hours and second one almost took 3-4 hours.Member asked my lawyer to verbally submit submission,my lawyer took 15 minutes,after that member said we will send you decision by mail.Fingers crossed.

Goodluck Buddy, I can imagine your situation after 4-5hrs hearing, 2 different days. Stay focus, all the best!

Good luck!!

Lots of information and questions needed to go over the asylum claim. Fairly unusual. Shows that it is a complex situation or there are lots of questions about the claim.

NOD can take a few week to many months.
