Waiting for CEC, passport expires in 2 months (possibly renewable)

Hi,

my status

-recently applied to CEC
-Male student from Taiwan
-not done the military program
-passport expires in 2 months ( may/may not renewable)
-done everything CEC asked even sent medical examination before CEC request.

My worry is the passport expires really soon and not sure if renewable. Been in Canada for 11 years and would really like to stay. Finished my undergrad last year and currently working. But once my passport expires, so does my postgrad working permit. I need to stay in Canada while waiting for CEC and I need to be permitted to work or at lease have some sort of income.

Please, I need people who can provide positive advice and suggestions. If you are out there, I need your advice and help. Thank you very much and looking forward to heard from you.

Thank you for asking. I am turing 27 and has not yet serve the military in taiwan. The government would simply want me to head back for military program. For that reason, I might not be able to renew my passport.

Yes, i am already enrolling with post graduate program. That is how i am working now. I was wondering if I can apply regular working permit again.

Without a valid passport, you will not get any extensions.
