I Also i recieved 7 month validity caq but my programme duration is 1 year I call four time to them and say they solve your issue but nothing done yet

Hey guys!

Now I am studying in Montreal and I need to extend my CAQ and study permit for 4 months to finish my studies. I applied for my CAQ. In my account, my file was opened on 2018-05-17, then I had a new message about the reception of my documents on 2018-05-28, and on 2018-06-27 they send me a message and asked me for more documents. my new documents delivered on 2018-09-07 and on Friday 2018-09-21 they send me message regards to the reception of my file. I didn't receive anything about my CAQ and as I need to apply for my study permit, I'm very nervous about it. Did you have the same experience with sending new documents? Is there any estimation about the time that I will receive my CAQ?

In my case it takes exactly 34 days including weekends. Max. Time is 40 days so I think ur case is already extend by them. U have to call them now.

Its been 16 days my documents have been posted to them for CAQ, but the online status of my application still shows “Opening your file”. Shall I call them?
I need the CAQ asap as my course will start in January and I haven’t yet applied for visa as I didn’t receive the CAQ.

I received receipt of documents on 29th Oct. N received my caq on 30th Oct. The very next day I got it.

which intake are you applying for ? if JAN then which clg?

Yah call them but i fear what kind of questions they will ask me and how I will talk to them.Because their language is french

don't worry, u can talk to them in English also. they simply ask for ur file no. then ur name, cntry, d.o.b. aftr tht they tell u about ur application status.
