Waiting for Approval of Tourist Visa: Need an advice!

Hi Guys,

I'm just curious how long does it normally take for them to review online application?

Submitted my application last June 22, biometrics completed on June 23 and now waiting for the feedback and result. I am kinda nervous because I have a booked flight going to US on Aug. 5 and will go to Canada for a side trip tour after going to US for just 4 days. Now is there any chance that I'll be denied? Here's my profile.

Visa

US VISA - 10 years
UK Visa - 6 months
Japan Visa - Expired
Korean Visa - Expired

Recently went to UK London for speakership and conference. I've also provided a letter from company stated my salary and I'm working in a semi government here in Qatar since February this year. My bank statement stated that I only have 6K CAD on my account but my monthly salary is actually 11.4k CAD which was stated on my letter from company.

Any chance that I will get deny on this? This is my first post and I really appreciate your response on this. I've also booked tickets already (can be cancelled anytime).

Can be longer or shorter that time is the average, if you are living in a foreign country it is usually longer.

Is there any way to escalate this to them like sending an email due to flight is near approaching?
